Lego's philosophy

Nios4 template data management system

What do the famous bricks have in common with the management software?

I guess we all know Lego as a toy company, or rather the one who invented the brick. A basic molecule that can create virtually any construction, more or less complex, when together with others. Of course, with more blocks, you have more different shapes and the more constructions you can create.

Practically everyone has followed two paths to play with Lego: two logics of approach that we run into several times in many areas. The first method is the “explained” one, where a guide shows you the steps to create your construction with the pieces at your disposal. The other way is simply using your imagination, where it is up to you to understand what structure you can shape, according to the number of pieces owned.

Lego knows how to help you make the most of the experience with its products and for this reason does not sell loose bricks, but boxes that tell a story.

These boxes promise you to make a creation, giving a little push to your imagination towards a precise direction and always reminding you that you are the builder, so you can do whatever you want with your bricks.

The Nios4 templates are like those boxes: they give you a suggestion of possible management, showing you what they can do and how the various components can work, always remembering that you can edit and expand your database as you want.

And maybe, as with Lego, you can also create and sell your database template. Nios4 allows you to put your work experience within it and without having to learn how to develop programs and mobile apps, just as Lego provides you with the building material without forcing you to realize it from scratch.
